DeLorean Motor Company COVID-19 Response - 17 March 2020

COVID-19 Response

DeLorean Motor Company cares about the health and safety of our employees and customers alike. Our management team has been following all official reports and making adjustments as necessary regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would like to ensure our customers that our parts, service, and restoration business is operational, with the exception of our showroom being closed to walk-in visitors. We are adhering to federal and local regulations to do our part in preventing the virus from spreading. At this time, we do not foresee any order or shipment delays, though the situation is very fluid and subject to change.

As we continue to monitor the situation we may need to adjust our operations to adhere to any new government regulations or safety concerns that may arise. We will continue to communicate changes as they are made, and if we expect the impact to delay orders from being processed or shipped.

At this time, the only restriction we have in place is the closure of our showroom to the public. Customer pickup orders are still being accepted, however, a member of our customer service team will bring your order out when you arrive. Simply call us at 281/441-2537.

Orders can continue to be placed online at http://store.delorean.com or with our customer service team at 800/872-3621 or 281/441-2537.

We are following and encourage you to follow the CDC’s recommended guidelines:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • Stop handshaking and maintain social distancing (at least 6 feet of separation).

  • Avoid touching your face and cover coughs and sneezes.

  • Disinfect surfaces like doorknobs, sink and toilet handles, refrigerator/other appliance handles and controls, tables and desks regularly.

  • Stay home if you’re feeling sick (except to get medical care) or have a sick family member in your home.

  • Always carry tissues or paper towels and handi-wipes in your vehicle and use them while at the gas pump to touch the pump buttons and gas handle.

  • Avoid traveling.
